If you are making a list of places to visit in Bangalore, this place sure deserves to be on the list!
I have been to lumbini gardens twice, once with parents and another time, with just cousins.
Entry fee is 50 and you will have to pay for some of the rides inside, though, it is not so costly compared to prices for the same amount of entertainment in Bangalore.
Try to go here on weekdays rather than weekends, as it will be rush and you will have to wait for boating as well.
The place is very beautiful and the park is maintained very neat and clean. One thing I didn't like is the food court. They don't allow eatables in the park and check your bags before entering.
The food joints in the court take more money for the kind of food they offer! It's just too bad! You should offer better food than the outlets if they are charging more. But they just take it for granted as all the people has to depend on the food courts for lunch!
There are both positives and negatives for this place, but it is a very good picnic spot to spend a day out with family.I would recommend this place if you are planning some place, not very far from the city and reasonable for picnic.
