Hey Guys,
Worth of an airline is best judged not when when everything is going smoothly but when things screw up.
About 30 passengers who left from IAD (DC) to Chennai on Jan 25 were put thru lots of trouble.. Flight delayed in DC causing the connection miss in Frankfurt...
No Lufthansa official to help with acco or food till someone went & helped themself. Plus irritating statements like ''You R travelling in the cheapest class, we cant provide accomodation for You''. Finally these folks stayed in a hotel spending their own money.. Pretty ridiculous... isn't it?!
My parents were & they've had enough with a Frankfurt stop-over just on their return... Plus added to all this when they get to Chennai after 24 hr delay, no baggage... Thankfully they brought the bags home later...
The problem isn't that the flight was delayed... But the treatment meted out to folks when something like this happens..
Moral of the trip : if U R sure ''everything is gonna be fine''?????? use Luft else Please Please Please make other flight arrangements...
