Lucky Ali has been out of scene for a while. Apart from singing ocassional songs like'Aahista Aahista' in'Bachana E Haseeno', his fans have not heard much about his whereabouts. Unlike some stars, he does not seems to have his website or blog from where one can get information about him. There is an offical site luckyali.asia which is under construction for god knows how long, and then there are some fan sites like lucky-ali.com, which are hardly updated.
So its kind of hard to find news about him and I wont blame if most of his fans are not even aware that Xsuie(pronounced as'Iksoi'), the album that was expected to be released years ago, and was postporned many times, for one reason or another, has finally been released.
Lucky Ali has been know for his unique unconventional, husky voice, which initially was taken with lot of skeptism by the media, but slowly, he made a niche for himself, and his music. Today, although maintaining a low profile, lucky still have a loyal fan following, that is always waiting for his new release with great interest.
Lucky has given us some great pop albums in the past like Sunoh, Sifar and Aks. Though his most popular song remains his debut song'O Sanam', fans of his music can clearly see the step by step progress in his music with every new album that he has come out with.
Xsuie has 16 tracks, and news is that Lucky Ali is going to shoot vidoes for all 16 of them! So expect him to be on AIR pretty soon.
Apart from the album, he is also acting in a movie called Rock Shock; he will obviously be singing in it as well. The movie is complete and is expected to be released next year.
I can write more about his biography, but the purpose of this review is to update his fans about his life and music. For facts and figures we do have google and Wiki, it shouldn't make much difference if he is born in 1955 or 1958, isn't it?
