Lucknow Central - Worth a watch!. Review on Lucknow Central

The movie stars Farhan Akhtar and Diana Penty in the lead roles. Film revolves around 5 guys - Farhan Akhtar, Gippy Grewal, Deepak Dobriyal, Inaamulhaq and Rajesh Sharma, who plan to escape the Lucknow prison by a clever means of forming a musical band and taking part in a bands competition held in the same jail. Other co-stars include Ronit Roy, Virendra Saxena and Ravi Kishan. The acting department is pretty much stacked here. Farhan, Rajesh and Ronit Roy amaze the audience with their acting. Deepak, Gippy and Inaamulahaq are great too. Ravi Kishan brings his best bihari gimmick here. Diana Penty looks stunning but does pretty average acting. The movie portrays the dark times they spend at Lucknow Central Jail. The movie keeps the audience glued to the screen with their escape plan. It also has its own share of emotional moments. Music in the movie is pretty average. Except for one, all other songs are like meh. The song "Meer-e-Karwaan" is just awesome and gets you to sing along. Neeti Mohan and Amit Mishra did a fabulous job in lending their voice to the song. Overall a very good movie. But definitely a one time watch.
