This is the story of Gaurav ( Girish Kumar Taurani) and Pooja ( Navneet Kaur Dhillon) . After the sparks fly, they move off and Gaurav marries his 'sweetheart'.
Cut to four years later in New Delhi, where Gaurav is now divorced and is forced to take a trip to Mauritius with his friends to get over his depression. Who does he bump into but Pooja and her friends who is at her Bachelorette Party. Here too they wake up in bed the next morning. Will Pooja get married to the boy who has been pursuing her for over two years, or will Gaurav prevail?
LOVESHHUDA is young and peppy and has the energy factor. Girish Kumar improves from his last outing RAMAIYA VASTAVAIYA, but it is debutante Navneet Kaur Dhillon who mesmerizes with her spontaneity and ease in front of the camera. She's easy on the eye and does not try too hard to make the scene her own, but inadvertently ends up the winner in every scene with her body language, dialogue delivery and expression. It would be nice to see more of her on screen.
Director Vaibhav Mishra maintains the tone of his narrative throughout, giving no jerks to his story. The songs are peppy and the feel is young and vibrant. The music too is 'alive' and vibrant with the addictive song 'aaj phir peene ki tamanna hai' buzzing in your head. The lead pair add oodles of charm to the proceedings and this is a big plus.
For youngsters who are looking for something light and romantic, LS would be an apt choice.
