Story:

This book was gifted to me by a friend and it now occupies a pride of place in my collection of books. A simply told story of two individuals who are opposites in nature, but get along so well - The storyline for Dharma and Greg must have originated from here.

Rich boy meets poor girl - they fall in love with each other. Rich boys' parents object. Rich boy shrugs off his parents and their social status and goes ahead to marry girl. They struggle. Haven't we seen this happen in so many Indian movies ? What makes this book eminently readable is the tight narration and the characterisation - I caught myself saying ''Hey, he sounds just like a guy I know'' or ''She sounds so familiar''.

Most of the book is the form of witty conversations between the two main characters. And these make you wish that you could come up with lines like that !!!

Although the ending is revealed in the opening lines of the book, you would still be hoping that it would all change by the time you get to the final page.

To sum the book in one word - unputdownable.
