If novels can trigger your imagination, this one can do magic.
it made me laugh...it made me cry(with real tears)...it made me fall in love with a girl for the first time ever...i was really in love with jenny cavilleri...i cannot call her by only her first name because of the kind of persona she carried...very impressive.it just helped me form a sketch of what I want to appear to others.
this young girl,a student of music, from not so rich a family, not extraordinarily good looking, but witty...this wit makes the most eligible bachelor fall head over heals for her and he leaves his father's milions just to lead a normal life with her!!!can u imagine what she must be???like a perfect''better half'' she guides her man and tells him when he is wrong...without any efforts to flatter him...and respects his family even more than he does. the way she braves through her illness and death is comendable.this is indeed one of the best drawn characters of any writer ever...and though the sequel is called ''oliver's story'' but this book is most definitly ''jenny's story''...her sacrifices and her passionte love.the man just seems to be a tool to bring out her character more clearly.
as I hate to reveal the story in my reviews(maybe some people r reading it before reading the book and I care for their interest to go ahead and read it instead of finding a review as an alternative)all I can say is that if u r not one of those hard hearted persons who feel love is a helucination and never exists...u must read the book..and even for those who believe love to be nothing but a myth...read it with a pure heart and ur faith in love may be re-established!!!!
