A refreshing and fun book!. Review on Love Signs - Linda Goodman

This is an interesting and informative book to possess and can be read once in a while.

Rare are the people who don't get intrigued by astrology, numerology, tarot, palmistry etc. This book deals with the subject of astrology, but at a very basic level. Astrology, be it vedic astrology or western astrology, deal with charts and interpretations which if conducted scientifically by an expert can reveal a lot of things. Sunsign though an important variable is just one of the factors influencing a person. His overall personality and life patterns depend on several other factors such as ascendent, moon signs, placement of planets in various houses or signs etc. So it has to be understood that sunsigns can give only a basic and not a 100% accurate sketch of a person. It is a one dimensional factor and cannot be expected to account for a multi dimensional personality.

Keeping all these things in mind if the book is perceived it won't be disappointing

and can be used as a ready reckoner to refer to for understanding various sunsigns and their interaction patterns. The combination of all the sunsigns is well described in three parts i.e. the general combination, male-female(e.g.aries man-gemini woman) and female-male(e.g. aries woman and gemini man) versions described at length and separately. Also it is very well written with some imaginative situations and dialogues thrown in and comes across as a very fun read.

This basic knowledge about the various sunsigns and their interaction patterns though not completely dependable can still help one sound pretty knowledgeable regarding the same. Also it can be one of the best ice breakers while initiating a conversation.

So if perceived in a light vein and buying it more with an idea of entertainment rather than gaining expertise would make this book an interesting addition to your collection!
