Lotus Temple, located at the heart of new delhi was built sometimes in eighties. I vsited this wonder twice in my life. First I visited this temple just after the advent of this temple sometimes in 1989. Then I wondered at this temple and looked like a completely impeccable white monument. The location was studded with lush green trees. The temple is situated at the middle of blue waters. We entered and I didn't understand why all people from various countries sat there completely silently. They seemed not to speak a single words. then I was told that this temple had been built for meditation and concentration and of course for gaining mental peace and rejuvenating the same. We left our shoes, sayed there in a mum and left. There was probably a gallery below the temple. A schhol going child liked it at his heart.
After many years again I went there early 2007 on a sunny winter day. First we had to search for the place and then the large temple's pinnacle loomed large through the green leaves of trees studding the locality called kalkaJi. I liked the tranquility again and we entered silents after leaving shoes. We observed that many school children draped in blue sweater also sat there controlled by perhaps their school teacher who beckoned at them to maintain complete silence.Due to its location in front of kalkaji Temple, many people throng both the places of interests consecutively.
The climate was sunny and full of people. Those who want to nurture mental peace, remove agony, rejuvenate satisfaction, resuscitate from debility, are the most suitable for this monumental marvel. Everyone is requested to keep silence and comtemplate over the eternal God who perhaps created this mysterious world and salute him for his enormous power and creation.
Anyone can go there by bus or hiring a cab or auto. Kalkajis temple and India gate are very close to this monement.
