Well I am from Dehradun so for me it is around 8 hours by road. It is around half an hour from the railway station, you can pick local transportation or you can go with a metro.
Its a beautiful monument made by an Architecture, When you will enter Lotus Temple you will see full greenery around you and including that 4 pools are there.
There is not much more to see but yes if you want to get relaxed or want some peace you can visit otherwise the temple your can only see and enjoy
For me you must visit this place once in your life if your are from India.
