This stuff really works ! . Review on Lotus Herbal Sunscreen

My rendezvous with sunscreen started way back in 1990's when I was a teenager and had to appear for exams in the skin destroying May afternoons of north India. I guess at that time, only Lakme sunscreen was available......so used it .......though wasnt very happy with it. I am not debating whether it worked or not but it essentially made skin look very oily...........which is more than enough reason to get irritated. This is the problem with most sunscreen , they make your skin look like you have taken a bath in oil .

Circa 2003, I moved to Bangalore ......though the climate is good but being on an altitude..........the sun is harsh enough to tan you in as less as half an hour of direct exposure...........so here I was ............again on the crossroads of choosing the right sunscreen .......and by chance stumbled upon Lotus sunscreen with black plum extracts .........though initially skeptical .........i bought the Rs.200 tube of the product .........Started using it anticipating that may be I look like bathed in oil but atleast I wont get tanned............but to my surprise.........all my doubts got wiped out when I used it . Initially you have to work your way to get it absorbed into your skin ........dont give up after you see white layer of this lotion kissing your face and neck .........work your way into it and I am sure it will work wonders. Apart from protecting your skin from sun , it actually works as a moisturizer too. After 25 years of age , the body almost stops making its own oil ........so it is very necessary to keep it hydrated. We take care of our skin very well in winters when it becomes very dry but we have a tendency not to do the same in summer time. So this sunscreen saves you from the pain of putting a moisturizer first and then applying another layer of sunscreen. I am writing this in reference to normal skin as my skin is normal ........probably people with dry skin have to go the same way I mentioned above.

In case you still feel that your skin looks oily..........just take a paper tissue and remove the excess. By regular use , I am pretty sure you will find a change .

Dont forget to use it on your arms/ hands , neck , feet apart from the face as they also get equal exposure to sun if not covered ........and smile your way through summer without getting tanned or sunburns !
