Losing My Virginity is an autobiography by Richard Branson, the founder n owner of UK based Virgin Group.

Branson's flambuoyant persona, his recent visit to India, his charisma and his global empire were the reasons for me to pick up this six hundred + paged book. Reading this big book was quite a challenge for a non-book lover in me. Considering my past records in reading big books, I was almost sure to drop it mid-way. Consideting it , I chose to read it during my travel timings so that I won't feel bad for loss of time, in case I managed to drop it mid-way.

The Book speaks about life of Richard Branson from his childhood, his school life, his first business venture, his baloon fights around the globe, his business ventures, ups and downs of life.

Its dividedinto several chapters, each encompassing particular important event or series of events in Branson's life and every chapter suitably titled todescribe the series of events stuffed in it. Each title makes it worthwhile to open the chapter and have a careful read at it.

Loose your virginity

-------------------------------------

Branson goes on describing his business ventures in very true to life narrations. Right from his first venture of the record shop till the ups n downs in Virgin Airways post 9/11.

His adventurous instincts are on full display not only in his baloon rides but also in the way he carried on his business.

Loosing virginity for a great reading experience for

Aspiring Management Grads who are continously on a look-out for books of/by Jack Welch or Warren Buffet. Doing business successfully with instincts and sound rationale are keys to survival is the message carried home by Branson. Look for a change MBAs !

An avid book readerwill sheerely be enthused by this book as it offers him the pace, a good story and lot of stuff for self-developement. Look for a good read guys !

Show-bazzersare those people who like to carry autobiographies of rich and famous people to show it off their reading tastes. This is just the right choice. His empire spans the globe.

Travel readers are the people who like to read during their travel time. The basic assumption is that they do not waste their time in travel by merely looking out of the window. For all of them buy it from Wheelers, Airport or the signal-wala vendor, u wont repent reading it.

Now, Losing my Virginity

------------------------------------

There was a classic debate for me ''Whether instincts+rationale rule or a well-informed decision rules''. I was undecided. I was virgin in making decisions. Allt eh go-getters around me were advocating me about being an instict driven person whereas the books recommended by Seniors and who's who were asking me to be the one who always take informed decisions.

Right from the Page 1 this book gripped me and my associations with this book grew stronger day by day. The thought of dropping it in mid-way never flashed in my mind. Everyday I looked forward to my travel to start so that I can read more about Branson.

After a few days, I finished reading this book only to realise my life has been seriously influenced by this. Now instincts + sound rationale rule for me while making decisions. The virginity is lost !
