As the title suggests today I am going to be reviewing my most favorite serum of all time and that is Liss Unlimited Serum from L'oreal's Serie Expert Range and why is it so?
Let's talk about it.
There are times when you wash your hair with your regular shampoo and conditioner, but, when you run your fingers through your tresses, to feel the smoothness and silkiness of the hair, you do not get fully satisfied with the result. To resolve your dissatisfaction, L'oreal Liss Unlimited has come to the rescue.

Packaging: Packaging of this particular range is literally treat to the eyes. It comes in a beautiful lavender colored transparent plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. You can eventually control the amount of serum as per your need. Even the pump has a lock mechanism with it which makes it sturdy, leak-proof and travel friendly.
Consistency and Texture: The consistency of the serum is quite similar to as the other serums available in the market. It feels slightly sticky at first, but when massaged into hair properly, it gets absorbed quickly.
Fragrance: It has a mild floral scent which is not at all bothersome and stays on hair for a good long time.
Availability: As we all know that the Serie Expert range is specially made or customized to be used by Professionals in salons only. Due to huge demand it is now easily available to us. But, before purchasing make sure to buy it from renowned online sites or from salons only as there are so many counterfeit products that are easily available in the market.
How to Apply: First and foremost, I would like to highlight one mistake that some people do with the serums, and that is using it in excessive quantity. There are times when people used to tell me that serums makes their hair oily and greasy and some of them used to apply it on their scalp as well. How I use: First after shampoo and conditioner, I divide my hair into 2 sections and I take 1 pump of serum for each side and apply it on my towel dried damp hair lengths only. If you need to apply extra you can gradually increase the amount rather than applying it all at once. Then you can go ahead with your styling routine or let it air-dry or blow-dry etc.
Note: Rub the product between your palms to generate heat, in order to melt the serum as it is slightly sticky to touch at first.
My take on the product: The first benefit I would like to highlight about this serum is that it can be used on both dry and damp hair, which is a plus point. After application, you can detangle your hair using a wide-tooth comb, or else you can use your fingers to detangle the hair as your hair will become so smooth that your fingers will easily glide.
As the name suggests, it's a shine perfecting serum which adds a luster into the hair. I usually use heating tools for styling so, it's a holy grail product for me as it also provides heat protection as well. My hair feels less damaged and smooth even after using artificial heat on them. And, it eliminates the need of using two separate serums and heat protection products as it does the same job of both. I notice less splits ends as my ends are prone to get splits.
It's a one time investment as it lasted me a complete year and I am on my third bottle. It has become a staple product in my routine. It's a best discovery for me as it does what it claims. A must try and buy product in my opinion. But, I will try and look out for some other better options too.
Important: One more thing I would like to highlight for the people with scanty/low density hair that this serum is specifically customized or you can say it works better on thick, dry and rebellious hair. As the formula will give your hair a straightened look by making it less frizzy and manageable. So, if you have a low density type of hair either refrain it from using or use a minimum amount of serum on your hair. Otherwise, your hair will look flat and greasy.
