Everyone loves to hate BPL Mobile. Even those who don't have a cellphone, and/or have never used one before. They claim to have experienced enough call drops to make them drop the idea of being mobile at all. They claim to have been billed for atrocious amounts which they never got the worth.
Should I call myself lucky for not being one of these unfortunate ones? I don't think so. If you have a phone that doesn't behave very well in closed areas and you take it deep in the heart of a factory surrounded by massive interference generating machinery, then naturally you have a network access problem. If you give your college going daughter your phone and her boyfriend is in USA, then naturally you have a billing problem because you never made those calls!
Now I'm not saying that these are typical cases, but you can't deny the fact that they are possible.
I've used a variety of phones, in all places around the city, at all times of the day. I have NO PROBLEMS with the service. Since I never have to call 800 for anything I just do so once a while and make them tell me how to connect to the Internet and download Pamela Anderson via my cellphone which doesn't support wap :)
I don't expect all of you to start believing in BPL after reading this review. This site is about opinions, and this is what I have to say.
