Imagine a story. an aspiring musician. goes to london to make a name for himself. forms a band in london with his new found friends. adds his childhood friend as a band member only realizing that his friend has become his biggest threat in the way of his success and fame . hence the so called "aspiring musician" who witha the help of the band member designs a conspiracy to destroy his friend's new found success and fame by turning him into a drug addict eventually realising his mistake as by that time the band is also broken. so get's back t his friend. sorts the problems and they both friends again.

That seems to be a potentially good and a strong story.doesn't it?

Now. add a 40 year old guy as an aspiring musician who because of his age cant even move on stage while he performs. who also dreams of jumping on the crowd on a live performance .That's Ajay Devgan for you:)

Now add . a 45 year old "still the most eligible so called bachelor" from a village as the protagonist who is also the childhood friend of a 40 year old musician". That's Salman Khan for you.

Now add an actress almost of the age of their daughters. Asin. who does nothing but dances in the background on the stage. but is still shown as an important member of the team.

Add and MTV VJ and a potential MTV roadies participant as the members of the band. That's Ran Vijay post the MTV Roadies days for you. by the way he is also the band member who helps Ajay in destroying Salman. Roadies. hangover haan . and dunno who the other guy in the band actually is . may be an MTV Roadies participant. who cares. when the director himself doesn't before casting him.

Add 40-50 crores budget and decide to spend it lavishly on the oldies and the roadies. Take them to london. make them sing hindi songs in front of the Britishers(god only knows what they would have understood when we Indian's cant understand Prasoon Joshi's lyrics). .

When the villager friend starts shaking his booty on the stage, the "ass"piring musician isn't able to see him do that coz he is 5 years younger to him in real life but still cant move . Also even after all the chichorapan in the world with the goris.the villager firend takes away the lady love and our "Ass"piring musician is given a lolly pop by his GOD. So finally Ajay gives Salman heavy dozage of drugs. after which Salman becomes a drug addict. loses his lady love. destroys himself. ALSO recovers from the drug addiction habit from a rehabilitation center. all in last 40 minutes of the movie. realising that his musician friend had drugged him and is being currently being beaten by bottles by the audience in a huge stadium . not for drugging his villager friend, but for trying to move on the stage(this is the climax of the movie. even more humorous than Ajay's previous outing. "All the best")

Bas. then what.villager going back to village. "Ass"piring musician realses his mistake and beats himself with his belt as a punishment.goes pichuu pichuu to village. brings back the villager friend. and happily jumps in the crowd with him after the performance.

Pathetic performances, childish direction and screenplay. tha's all I can say.

God knows why I saw this movie. may be to realize that I seriously need to post a review finally on mouthshut after a long gap of 2 years.
