Every Mumbaikar must be aware of Lonavala- Our very own hill station. Just around an hour and a half drive from Mumbai, Lonavala is a pleasant place, away from the hustle bustle of the city.
The climate is cool and perfect for monsoon loving people.
But lately, it is becoming extremely overcrowded especially on weekends, so I suggest people take a break from work and explore Lonavala during weekdays when it is less crowded.
And how can we forget the famous Lonavala chikki. I recommend the chikki from Maganlal which is just in the right side of the road when you enter Lonavala.
The groundnut crush chikki is my favorite.
