Visit in Rainy season. Review on Lonavala

Lonavla is a hill station near Pune. It is a very great spot for a one day trip. The best time to visit Lonavla is in rainy season. You can visit in winter or any season for that matter, but I would urge you to visit it in rainy season.

you can visit Lonavla either by car, bus or train or bike.  As it is a small hill station you can't access it by air.

There are not many spots to visit in Lonavla. There is dam you can see. but other than that people come here to take in the amazing nature and enjoy rain. The hill station is surrounded by mountains. The greenery is something to look for and the waterfalls as there are many of them. The weather is amazing and you can have a quick road side snacks like corn or wada pav.

Having hot corn in cold weather and in the middle of the clouds is amazing. Yes, in rainy season the clouds are really low and you are literally in the middle of them. The place is really good for a weekend hangout. there are monkeys whom you can feed and they steal your caps! so beware of them:-D

there are many hotels in Lonavla to grab a bite. As for accommodation, it is not that great and not many choices to choose from. Many people make this a one day trip hence there are not many lodges available.

The place is safe. but I would advice to be alert and not roam alone at night if you are planning to stay. Other than that the place is really amazing an you are sure to have fun.
