Last year I went to Nagpur with my wife to my aunt house. She live in main Nagpur city. Next day she told me to visit the Lonar lake with her family. As I love to visit different places so I agreed. This place is approximately 360km from Nagpur and located in Lonar in bundana district. They had their own car so we all got ready to go there. It takes approximately 7 hours to reached there.She told me that the lake is inside the dense forest.We don't know the right way so we take a local tourist guide to go inside the forest.
During our journey guide tell us about the history of that lake.He told me that a meteor strike on that place where this lake formed. He also told me that this place also known as Lonar crater. But this place is not only famous for this crater but ancient rishis built temples around the lake.
Finally we reached at that place after trekking about one hour. We all were really tired but when saw that place our tiredness flew away as the place is so beautiful that ukulele can't put off your eyes from there. There is twelve inch water stream, which got into the surface pouring water in to the lake but this evening miracle like that this lake remains as salty as sea water.
There war several kinds of birds and animals. We took a lot of pictures there and enjoy a lot. If you ever go Nagpur then you surely visit this awesome place.
