The Logitech X300 Bluetooth speaker. The speaker can no way replace your home theatre system but to me its way to enjoy your music anywhere you need.
Design And Looks
Logitech has given the X300 a very portable sturdy and fun design yet they somehow managed to not degrade the sound or audio quality. The Logitech X300 come in various colours yet my favorite one is Black and Coffee colored as I have shown in the images. The speaker may cost you upto 3500 INR. The X300 is made up of a grippy rubber material that feels good in your hand. Personally I Love the design. The slight upward angle when placed horizontally makes the sound hit your ears and not your chest, but the X300 can also be squeezed into some tight spaces, thanks to the vertical placement. The X300 has two speakers in front and sub woofers on passive side. We have the Bluetooth button, Microphone, Volume up and down at the top. Thanks to the micro USB charging port at the back I dont have to carry another cable and also I can charge it with my powerbank and laptop. Thanks Logitech's engineers unique way of thinking. We also have an Aux cable port and power button with an indicator light at the back. Unfortunately the speaker does not have the play and pause button on it, therefore you have to control all your music from the device which you are using. The Logitech only provides a micro USB cable with no wall adapter plug, but that should not be a problem since you have one lying around already.
How To Connect The Speaker To Your Device.
To use the speaker you just need to turn on the speaker with the power button at the back, then you need to hold the Bluetooth button for few seconds until the indicator light blinks fast with an audible beep. Now turn on Bluetooth on your phone and search for the nearby Bluetooth devices. There it will show Logitech X300 just click on it and there you go. You have wireless music for life! The X300 also acts as a speaker phone for the incoming and outgoing calls. For receiving call you just need to double press the Bluetooth button . For rejecting calls you just need to press the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds. The call sound is okay as long as you are not too far away from the speaker.
Performance
I love bass, who doesn't but I also love to hear the mids and the highs of the music, The Logitech X300 gives me exactly that. The bass is good but it doesn't overpower the presentation. The audio coming out of the X300 is so good with an excellent bass that it leaves me wondering that how can Logitech can do it in such a tiny package. Kudos! to Logitech for that.
Quality Of Sound
The bass is really good according to its size. With good clarity in voice and instrumentals doesn't get muffled by the bass. The midrange and trebble are smooth. Its there but without being sharp foldout. Now I listen to all types of jenre .Never did I experience that I am missing out any side of the frequency. Even at 50% volume it loud enough for a bedroom. One thing I noticed that there is a little distortion at the higher volume. A little static noise takes over when you play it at the full volume. But let me assure you one thing, if you are listening a song on this beautiful device its loud enough for a room that you will never go for full volume.
Value For Money
The Logitech X300 is a little beast with great sound quality. The only thing that bothers me is that it should have a carrying case and the battery indicator after all its a portable speaker. If you are looking to buy a decent speaker with good sound quality this is it. The speaker is great value for money. You can compare this speaker with big branded speaker like JBL. Which is much more expensive and the sound quality is close to Logitech X300.
Overall Satisfaction
The speaker quite good for its price. You can listen to your music anywhere loud and clear. The Bluetooth range is good enough 7 meters to be approximate. The light indicator turns red when the battery is about to die. Otherwise when fully charged it indicates a blue light. When getting charged it indicates a cute pink light. So guys if you are planning yo buy a bluetooth speaker in near future this speaker is worth considering.
