Please read the review earleir to mine as it shows how the mumbai train service is the best train service in the world and even nations like new york london are no where close to us.
daily millions of people depend on trains to get to work and come back to theri homes.they choose the trains because it is the fastest means and the cheapest means of transport it is better than bus as there in no train jam like a traffic jam.but very rearely there are a few problems but there are problems in every aspect in life and thats just another part of life.
mumbai has three lines western from churchgate to vihrar central from cst to kalyan and the harbour from cst to panvel because of this it is possible to reach any station from any station by changing trains.
because of over population the trains are jamed and get dirty its not that they are not maintained well.they are kept very well but we people mis use it and blame the authorities for it.in a country like india where the corruption level is so high this is the only field where I can say that there is no corruption.
people from all walks of life travel by train.there are special trains and compartments for ladies too.a bogey for goods and the handicaped.taking a pass falls cheaper.
the train service is so good that it should be one of india's tourist spots show foreigners and others what life truely is.the trains are always on time and u have 953 shows a day thats 953 trains running daily.
