This review is coming out somewhat late as I did the purchase in Apr this year. Last Summer was at it's peak and installing AC was becoming a necessity - so, after initial study and investigation from our side based on the needs and budget I zeroed-in on Lloyd AC(Model #: LS13A3LX).
Primary factors considered were: 1Ton(as per our room size), Copper Coil(most ACs now come with this one), minimum 3-Stars Rating and Price within 25k. Lloyd's 1-Ton Split AC fit in best within these parameters.
There was an Ad in the newspaper that, since Lloyd is completing 60 years of business - they were giving discounts on most of their products and the model I liked came down from 26k to some 24k - this made it all the more an attractive choice of purchase. With stabilizer(and free installation) the entire cost was 25.5k.
Why 3 stars? I was not more into power saving as I knew the usage is going to be limited - 1. Limited to nights, 2. limited to Summer or other hot days. Our region receives heavy rainfall during monsoons and winters are bearable, so it's only few months/days of the year we would really need this one.
Dealer experience: Since, I personally knew the dealer this experience wasn't so bad. The installation was done next day without much hassles.

Model: LS13A3LX, Cap: 1.0 Ton, Star Rating: 3 Star(Energy efficiency: 3.23), Weight: about 10-12KG, Power Supply: 220-240V / 50Hz, Power Consumption: 1027W.
AC Experience: Cooling is excellent and no questions on that front. The model is slick, however started making some noise(not much) when both horizontal and vertical swings are on. If we keep the swing off, it is much better. There is a timer feature which is very useful. Most others are regular features.
Post sales support: The very next day of purchase I tried to register the product on Lloyd website which I could not do. There was nothing getting populated in the "Model" drop-down box and Submit button was disabled since this was a mandatory input. I tried calling their customer care(for Goa region - 1800-2664-212). On first attempt, I got an auto message: All our CS Executives are busy with other customers - please call later. On second attempt I got an auto message: Will transfer the call to a CS exec - and then it kept ringing for more than 2 mins or so after which I disconnected the call as it was too long a wait time.
I was a worried - I did not expect something like this from a company whose advertisements I used to see after every over during last T-20 WC cricket matches and whose tag line said: "Khushiyo ki Guarantee"!
What was surprising (or shocking should I say) is that the number mentioned on the warranty card for Goa region - is not going through. I had to call up the Haryana region, the guy provided me with a new number(which again did not go through - I mean what the hell - by now I had already started thinking if I made a wrong choice).
I called the Haryana toll free number again, the moment I said, I am calling from Goa, they wanted to shut me off saying Madam this is for Haryana region bla bla.I somehow explained the situation to them and mentioned that it's not any technical query but all I wanted to know was how to register for their product online(which was having issues) and how and when should I claim the 3 free services offered by Lloyd. She agreed to entertain my query, however the explanation did not help as their site still is having issues submitting the product registration. Unfortunately, I did not have the laptop along with during the call, so that I could explain the problem to her.
After another attempt, they said the number for Goa region mentioned on the warranty box is incorrect and they gave me another one - which did not help either. After this I left the registration process aside as I could not spend so much time on such a petty issue.
Other than this, the product seem to have been working well.
