Bought a Lloyd 1 ton Split ac recently. I had read the reviews here and did get a little deterred too. But still went ahead with my decision.
Purchased on 4th may from vijay sales Inorbit mall malad. Got the delivery as well as installation the very next day. (Although I did tell the sales person in advance a couple of times that I need the delivery & installation urgently). The installation chap was actually very good. He knew his job well and seemed quite experienced from the way he carried out his work.
Finished the installation in just an hour or so. Have been using the ac regularly since then. Have had absolutely no trouble at all. The machine is almost inaudible when working. The cooling is extremely well. All the modes n features are working normally. All in all I'm extremely satisfied with the purchase. I admit that I went for llyod as it was the most economical offer in the market, but now as it is turning out, it is also actually one of the better products out there.
This is the first review I've ever written, solely for letting prospective buyers to know that maybe these reviews vary from case to case.
