It is strange to imagine an Italian place that serve pure vegetarian food! Yes, Little Italy Juhu serves pure vegetarian Italian cuisine. The name sounded very strange to me when I first heard it, but the time I got there, it just blew my mind! The place is so sophisticatedly decorated and I loved this one section that has been decorated with lovely bottles of renowned wines. I have been here so many times now with my family, that they know me by my first name!:D
There is nothing in the world I love, as much as their thick, creamy Mushroom Soup. Every time I have it, it tastes the name! The same perfect concoction! This along with their Garlic bread, tastes just amazing! You have to try it to know what it tastes like! I like to call it liquid heaven:p.
You know one good thing about this place? They have all the names of the dishes written as the Italians have named it, albeit in English of course:p and there are these alphabets and numbers next to these dishes, which simplifies so many things! All you have to do is just read out the number for example A.1 and the waiter knows what you are asking for and get the precise order! Amazing isn't it?
Their Bruschetta is a must have! They come with lovely toppings like asparagus, olives, sun-dried tomatoes and mayo! yummm! They have an extensive range of pizzas and pastas! But I any day prefer having a pizza over a pasta. What is the point of going for an Italian meal, if you are not going to enjoy an authentic, wood bakes pizza?:D
There are many that I love, Manila, Mediterranean etc. Do ask the Captain for his recommendation, as I am sure he will suggest you some of the best ones. I give desserts a miss as they are not that appetizing or flavourful! One time I had called for a slice of Blueberry Cheese Cake and it turned out to be pretty stale!:( But one or two are worth trying out probably, which I have done only once- the Caramel Custard and the Panna Cotta. So the next time you crave for an Italian meal, do try out Little Italy.:)
