My brothers would tease me that this is the way I introduce myself to people. And, they weren't very far off the mark. Thanks to Linda Goodman, this would be pretty much be there in the conversation, though may not be the opening statement.
And, I still do it (much later in the conversation). And, unfortunately, I forget the date of birth and remember only the sign. :-) So, don't expect cards/gifts from me if I just change my question to ''when is your birthday''.
Linda Goodman is a great read. She is witty and knows just how to make a negative sound like a positive - or at least neutral.
Interestingly, I also believe that there is not much difference between one zodiac and another. For instance, she will say that a Taurus woman is sweet, and that a Libra woman is a charmer, a Scorpio is magnetic...u get the drift?
She does also qualify her statements saying the true nature does depend on a lot of other factors like your ascendant and other planetary positions. This is what makes each of us in a zodiac different from others in the same zodiac. Indian astrology will bear this out.
But, as a broad outline and for the time-pass factor, this is a good book. In fact, I have I would have gone through the description of almost every sign/relationship - except that it is too huge and you like reading and rereading some parts often because of the subtle humour that reflects throughout.
If the next time we meet and you ask my my zodiac/date of birth, I will know what you have been reading.
