Shri Mahila Griha Udyog is mainly known for its tasty papad. Before 50 years it was a cottage industry, but now a days it is a managed, co- operative industry with many branches in India. In childhood I had seen the addvertisment " KARRAM KURRAM SWAD SWAD SWAD ME LIJJAT LIJJAT PAPAD". I just love this papad. We can fry or roast it on open flame.
But I like them best microwaved. A stack of three crispy papad is ready within a minute. They are saucer sized, thin and crunchy wafers with great flavour. The pepper flavour is very nice to have on hand for healthy snacking. It is also available in red pepper flavour which has a smooth texture. Great with chutney, onions, curries, dals etc. It has amazing taste with reasonable price. It's packaging is nice. So guys taste it.
