LG Infotech is an institute that offers online training for various SAP, Microsoft, Networking & Oracle technologies.
Since I was looking for a switch to SAP, I was hunting for online training option and came across LG Infotech elearning that was available at 599/-. When clicked on the link, I was redirected to the groupon website.
Checked the overall course details and it looked promising. Accordingly, purchased the voucher. And got some security & groupon code with my mailbox.
As per the policy, I logged on the LG Infotech website and entered the groupon code with the website post which LG Infotech guys are required to add the requested training to my account and I can go ahead with the learning.
I checked my account after 3 days and the course was not added. So thought of contacting these LG guys and did not see any contact number with the website i.e. https://lginfotech.net. Marked the query to the institute via email and the course was added in a day time.
Checked the videos with the course the other day and found that it was just 5% of the audio. In other words, the audio was not audible. Accordingly marked an email to the institute. But there was no response. Asked for an update after a day or 2 and again there was no response. I had no option but to mark an email and seek update. Marked the third email and got the reply where they acknowledged the audio issue and updated that they have been working on the fix of the same and it will take time.
After another 3-4 days I asked for the overall timeline, the issue will be fixed in. And again no response. Marked another 2-3 mails in a week time and there was no response. This irked me big time and I forwarded the same email to the Groupon support team and looped the LG Infotech people and asked for the refund as there was no concrete update coming to me and highly disappointed with the support.
Now LG people marked on on one bad email to me and concluded that they will block my forum access and will return my money and I need not have to talk anything on this with anyone. The email really looked abusive and I was stunned to see this response.
I finally marked this email to the Groupon CEO and looped LG Infotech at the same time and highlighted the overall email and requestsed to take off LG Infotech from the Groupon website so that no other people falls prey to this so called online training program.
Groupon was kind enough to assist me till the final reversal. But LG Infotech experience was pathetic.
Final Verdict: Do not try this. If you wann try, try at your own risk.
