Is it a Car or a dream? Kodus to Toyota for coming out with this model and man, true to their slogan, they have relentlessly persued themself to perfection. This is my 5th Car so far and I am very pleased with its performance. The maintenance is virtually nil....which probably is due to the fact that I get it serviced by my local Car Mechanic rather in the Lexus Showroom which can be expensive. Believe me, you can get the same level of professional service if not better at your local mechanic for a fraction of the cost of getting serviced by the Authorised Dealer, however, make sure you know the mechanic personally or you have been reccommended to by someone otherwise it can backfire on you.
The best thing about this car is, its difficult to know if the ignition is on or off due to the smoothness of its engine. Infact a couple of times, I tried to start the engine when the ignition was already on.
The interior is full leather and with premium music system and a 6CD stacker, you dont have to worry about constantly changing the CD's of your favourite songs...I have had Veer Zaara's CD in the stacker and get to hear it only once in a month after I run through the rest of the CD's in the stacker.
One last point, the body of the car is like a giant's. Recently somebody bumped into the Car from behind when my wife was driving, the guy was panicky and he came to my wife and apologised and said he will take care of all the expenses to repair the dent, however, when my wife got off the car and went to check the damage, guess what?? there as not a single dent...infact his car had a big dent but our Lexus, it looked as if nothing happened. Infact we didn't press charges as there was nothing to claim.
Lexus....The relentless pursuit of perfection!
