Levis-The best but cheating the indian folks?. Review on Levis

I have been a huge fan of levis- when it comes to jeans, I feel that is the top of the class brandRecently though- I have noticed that these guys are cheating the indian folks, why?

1. They have sales through outlets like lifestyle and shoppers stop where they are giving at about 50% discount. The items on sale are old stock- I mean really oldI happened to buy 1 from lifestyle- a 517 which is never on sale normally and went home to see its a defective one- vvvv small defect but why is it on SALE? it should be at factory outlet then

   
   




2. The sale at their main stores has almost NOTHING on sale- when all are giving 30, 40 and even 50% these guys are giving nothing much on good stock- all junk stock on sale and that too less discountsIf you happen to go to the US- u would see for about $30, which is 1500 rs - u will get the red tab range and if u see the quality difference, the indian stock is not worth the same cost, however they sell at HIGHER cost here.

   
   

If you can pay the full price and get it- there is nothing to match them in the quality and value -compared to the lee, pepe and other brands. The surely stand apart even though they sell lesser quality stuff in india.(compared to US)

There are other brands too which are really high priced, like dockers, color plus -but they do not put crap stock on sale and the quality is at par with what they sell abroad.I think levis should stop fooling the indian consumer and put genuine sales, not a farceAlso they should put good stock( red tabs like 517, 501, 511) on sale and not the off beat stuff...
