Am a old member of Mouthshut.com from 2013, Also I view mouthshut.com for reviews regularly but was posting rarely. Now I realize I should also contribute for the well awareness of all consumers like us.


I bought this LETV LE 1s phone on 9th March 2016 Seeing huge advertisements, big launch, good on Features, & Good Pricing for the same. Never the less I bought this for the only reason, Metallic Body.


As expected Flipkart delivered to me the very next day I ordered & was impressed with the phone, As it had got very good UI User Interface(eui) & the camera was fast & later was dissatisfied with the connectivity/network problems though I was using single sim only. I mAnasultanged somehow. One more issue was it was getting heated like hell(literally one can make Dosa's on it given it was a metallic phone)


Within few days the display got cracked when the phone fell from hardly 2ft when it was charging & I took from there. Went to service center after few days in Mid April & they said they wouldn't replace the display, as their policy says They only replace the FULL PHONE, I was happy about it & gave the phone which took about 10-15days for replacement & they charged me a whole Rs:4510/- which is almost half the cost of the phone & I was OK with it, saying my fate that I dropped the phone.


Not to forget the phone had very sharp edges which can be used to trim your nails(which I did oftenly) the full designing is not taken care in production, may be it is made for INDIA.


Later I saw the phone which I got as replacement isn't getting charged, & whole night I keep in charging it charges to 99% & stops when I remove the plug it runs for 2-3hrs & switches off by saying "i am getting better everyday" & "smart phone ecosystem" etc., Again when I keep on charge the phone stops @ 1% battery & when I remove it again works for an hr or so.(YES I AM USING THE ORIGINAL LETV CHARGER PROVIDED BY LETV WITH PHONE)


I tried restore default/format/remove all apps, etc., and the same problem., I mAnasultanged using it with charger plugged in everytime for few days till I got time to go to the Service Center again on 27th June, they did some gimmick saying software problem, data backup etc., I said I do not need any data from this phone As I have the backup of what I needed already. You just restore the phone & give me. I waited for few hours, Got the phone saying it is done & see the charging 11%, When I checked The data was Intact_Automation, My finger print also, When asked he changes the word saying he did solve the issue & check for a day If issue pertains then come back tomorrow, I agreed as it was their closing time & came back, The phone 11% lasted till I reached next signal on my vehicle.


I went again on 28th June, saying the phone wasn't restored & please get it proper as without it communicating in current time is very difficult. They said they will observe for a day & give a call back tomorrow, which I accepted & waited, Did not receive call back Called them back they said they need to send to the Company & it will take 30Days & if I confirm they will send or else give me back the phone as it is.


30Days? Are these people LEECO or LETV or whatever SERIOUS what they are telling? If I do not tell they wont send to service & give back the phone as it is. Is this the service they are commited to or taking 30Days they are commited to?


Spoke with the company directly on 1800-301-01838 & they said as soon as possible they will do it, mailed them replied very late with auto email replies, tweeted them the same, facebooked them the same thing they did.


I am left with no option, MONEY GONE, PHONE GONE, SERVICE COST GONE. NO REPLY


I am in no clue what has to be done now, Addressed to National Consumer Helpline, Why these kind of companies are allowed in India? to advertise & loot & run away with our hard earned money?
