LetsBuy - Collective Experience

Now this is my collective experience with LetsBuy. In past 8-10 months; I did some 30 orders from LetsBuy in total and out of these 25 were perfect, (great rates + coupon, safe and super fast shipping).


2 had some minor complaints which were resolved promptly by the customer care. Which leaves 3 orders, these 3 orders become PITA and following is my experience with LetsBuy with respect to these three orders.


Order one was for a Casio ladies watch; which I purchased using a coupon and got it in very good rate. LetsBuy shipped it fast enough; but when I opened it; it was pink colored instead of Red as mentioned in their website.


After this started a long chain of contacting customer care, I do not think any body really responds to normal customer care mail id (they used to respond as I observed my self in other two orders but that is about 4-6 months before), it dragged and dragged for many days and finally I wrote this to CEO email id which is probably the route to escalation.


I soon got a call from escalation manager (Kaushik); who again stopped responding (mean while they changed the watch webpage to specify color as pink). So I mailed again and this time being contacted by another manager, now this new guy took a week time but finally solved the bug (he gave me his number and mail id and asked me to contact him directly in future).


He told me that the color is not in stock; and either I can replace the watch with any other watch (+ 300 rs) or take the refund. I choose the middle way; I kept the watch and asked them for a coupon so I can replace the strap. which was provided with in 24 hours.


So case solved. In second case where one of the item from the order was not shipped for 15 days; and contacting customer care was not helping at all; I directly called the same manager and it was shipped with in 2 days. (15 days nothing happen and than solved in two days).


Third order is yet to deliver and I will update the case once done. So to conclude now; following is my ratings for LetsBuy Past LetsBuy & Cust Care rating: 5 star & 5 star. Current rating of Letsbuy :  4 star Current rating for customer care response : 1 star (Now it could be because of some other department not functioning properly but this is how it is) Rating If you contact the right person in escalation: 5 star. OverAll : 3.5, 4 star (if you know the right person).


Especially now when the coupon saga has ended; it all come down to service.


Now this review will not help some one unless I'll tell the name of person who helped me, its Amit Gaur, he is escalation manager.


Try contacting him in case you are not getting proper help. To LetsBuy: We need more guys like Amit Gaur, and please make other department (like dispatch); accountable to respond to customer care mails.


How many times I have been told that "my concern is being sent to concerned team and they are not responding."


It would be a 5 star review if I would be writing it 3 months back, but its 4 star now; so its definitely a time to boost your service.
