I bought a samsung microwave from letsbuy and waiting for them to ship the product


after 4 days they told me that my payment was not confirmed and I need to submit some documents like credit card photostat address proof etc for that.  I explained that I paid it through net banking  so how could I give credit card photostat.  so they informed me that my amount would be refunded back to me and order would be cancelled.. I waited for few day s and meanwhile I bought from another site. after again 4 days on 30th aug they despatched my order. I called them and they told me not to receive the order and the amount would be refunded once the order reaches them back. it was ok from me. after 7 days the order reached me and  I refused it and it had been 20 days since then but the item did not reach them. the customer care replies after 2-3 days to a mail and give same ans to the queries and still they are saying it would take around 10 days to give refund. no follow up for the order. Very poor. I will definitely avoid letsbuy in future


update on 3rd oct:- finally got my refund...thanks to the team from letsbuy who looks into mouthshut reviews..after my review they called me and expedited my matter and I got my refund...


please try to maintain services like this in the place so no one writes such reviews.


i have used letsbuy 4 times before with COD and would continue to use letsbuy but only through cash on delivery...this was my first experience with prepaid option and I saw the consequences

The first thing we must do when we discover that we’ve slipped up is to offer a complete and sincere apology. Although apology would not have saved the time you had wasted running on the calls, but we believe that you had trusted us and would give us a chance to make up for the inconvenience caused. We must learn from your experience, and that we will take action to change and grow as a result of your feedback.
There was a delay in shipment due to the non-confirmation of the payment from the gateway itself. Although the same was being captured on 5th Sep which is already a date past the committed time frame. You had your own plans regarding the order and we played a “spoil spot” due to a rare incident from the gateways side!
We’re sorry that we caused this problem; we are really distressed over this. Please know this that we take this very seriously. This is a huge oversight on our part. We will immediately notify the concerned department, and we will review our procedure to ensure that this cannot happen again.
We have processed your refund. The transaction amount would be credited back to your account within4-7 working days. And we are also making a note of this matter to be discussed again at our next service conference.
We are really sorry for your bad experience with us and hope, you will give us a chance to offer you a level of service desired by you. Once again we truly appreciate your patience for bearing with us!
