Letsbuy is nothing but a cheap copy of Flipkart. It proclaims to sell online products that are also available at other sites but at a slightly cheaper price or promises a free gift. I made a mistake of making a purchase from this site my no was LSB 958861. I made an order of three different pendrives and an Iball Dhun USB speakers. The delivery time proclaimed was 2-4, working days. I placed the order on 29th March and there was no response at all from the site. On checking online it shows the order status as under process. They have dispatched only 2 pen drives after over 14 days that too after several email and calls to their customer care.
There is no clue about the speaker, which was my primery and expensive item of the order. They never respond to the emails, but you will get only an automated reply that they will respond to the mail within 48 working hours, which they never do. What a great time limit to answer an email set, which even they never follow.
When you call their customer care they give the same reply which I can myself check on their site, so what is the use of it. They do not give you the number of any responsible person who could address the issue. They just say that a complaint has been lodged with the concerned department, which I am sure doesnot exist. I have now no option left but to move to consumer court.
Now a word of caution to the prospective buyers.
Do not trust the reviews on this site. If you find any positive review, it must have been written by themselfs. They check every review and only post the positive reviews and never a review critisizing their service.
Order only you if want to order and forget about your order for good, even if you choose to order never use your credit card, a mistake I made, but use Cash on Delivery. This way your money is safe with you.
If you write to them, never expect they will read it, you will instead get an automated reply that has been set them as standard for all the number of complaints they daily receive.
If you call their call centre do not expect any more information, that is already available on net, so expect no help from them. If you recieve you product in time you are the luckiest person in this world.
Finally if you read all the responses from Letsbuy in reply to all their complaints on Mouthshut, it will confirm my above observations. They give the same automated reply of all the complaints, they donot read them even leave aside resolving them.
TO prove my above fact, I can bet that this review will also attract the same automated reply from this site, which will prove my point.
SO buyers beware of this site.
