I am posting this to make customers wary of Leo Packers and Movers. I moved from Mysore to Bangalore in May 2014 thru Agarwal Packers(not the DRS one). Very impressed with their packing and unpacking too at Bangalore. I had to return from Bangalore back to Mysore after 3 months and reached Agarway Packers. Surprisingly the quote on return was full 33% higher than I paid on my onward journey.
So I decided to try others(including Leo, DRS and Prakash). Prakash was the lowest and Leo was the highest. The manager Ramesh of Bangalore office showed up promptly and gave a equally high quote which was later reduced by 2500Rs. Yet it was full 4000Rs higher than Prakash and 3000 Higher than DRS Agarwal. I was assured best service. I queried that they do not have office in Mysore. The manager said do not worry, we will send people along who came for packing. On the day of packing I was assured they will come by 9:30AM. They were late by 75 minutes. When I called Ramesh, he had the nerve to bark at me not to keep calling. I had called a day earlier too in order to confirm if their employees will be on time. He did not pick up the call. During packing I noticed that 2 of their employees came drunk. I pointed this to Ramesh. No response. The agony was unfurling in front of my eyes. While the employees were hard working they were uncouth and filthy. Contrast this to Agarwal whose employees come in uniform.
The shock was on the day of unpacking at Mysore. Only 1 person came along with the driver. When I called Ramesh to inform this, he had the nerve to say, we never said we will send 5 people? We said it will be unpacked. What is your problem. Mind you there are heavy stuff like steel almirah, fridge, Massive Table etc to be lifted to 3rd floor. I called the CEO Vinod Shah. He was impatient. He said I will address it. But no response. I complained about Ramesh. He said he will take care of it. Now I realise that this is all part of an orchestrated scam. And these people shamelessly en cashed my Cheque by afternoon itself lest I put a stop payment on it. I WOULD URGE PEOPLE TO AVOID LEO AT ALL COSTS. IF YOU DO SO, BE PREPARED FOR THE WORST TREATMENT.
What bothers me most is the Attitude of this prick Ramesh who masquerades as a Manager of Bangalore office. I have never come across such lousy service manager in my 22 years work experience.
The packing was horrible. The boxes are never taped to prevent the bottom from opening up. The close the bottom part of the carton and then place stuff and use the taping gun to Tape it. Now when I cut the tape and lifted the box accidentally, my vessels fell down from the bottom. Henceforth it is Agarwal packers for me as their packing is the best.
When selecting a packer check their credentials with people. I went blindly with the high rating on mouthshut for Leo and I think it is being gamed by the LEO guys. I can be contacted by phone if you drop a note on mouthshut. I will rattle out my experience.
