Lenovo K4 Note : The Killer Note. Review on Lenovo Vibe K4 Note

HARDWARE:The handset has features like 5.5 inches full HD sceen wid gorilla glass 3 protection, 3GB RAM, Mediatek MT6725 Octacore processor having speed of 1.3GHz with Mali T720 GPU, 16 gb internal storage, 3300 mAh battery, 13mp rear camera and 5mp front camera, fingerprint scanner and dual speakers at the forefront, Dual SIM slots n MicroSD card expansion is also supported.Build quality is pretty good, all plastic build with metal running over the sides, battery is sealed inside, edges are shamphered , Fingerprint scanner is at the back and the plastic back is also removable whih gives access to the battery .Rear camera is very good in natural n outdoor conditions, but however it struggles in indoor n artificial lighting, there is No OIS, Front cam takes good quality of selfies. Camera quality is above average .Battery life is also very good on this device. It gave me a typical 4-4.5 hours of Screen on Time, but however Lenovo did not provide any fast charging support .

SOFTWARE: Lenovo K4 Note runs Android 5.1.1 with Vibe UI running on top, there is no lagginess, it is very snappy and responsive, it does have an app drawer now unlike previous generation K3 Note, sure to get Android 6.0 update in near future . Apps switching is easy and very lucid, but gaming is just pathetic and terrible on this device . Casual games run fine but problem comes with the heavy games . PLUS POINTS:Fingerprint scanner works well on this device, is accurate and is very fast .The Audio quality through dual speakers in the front is amazing( due to Dolby Atmos support), As an added feature, the TheatreMax functionality works really good with the bundled VR headsets! Battery life is good . Ver nice device by a vry promising company for a price of just 11999 rupees . MINUS POINTS: Cellular reception n call quality is NOT good, Quality got muddy with longer calls( longer than 5 mins), the buttons are not backlit .The device heats up a little even with normal usage like browsing( 42-43 degrees) but that can surely be fixed with a software update! Gaming is not good since the same old GPU is used that puts a strain on 1080p screen . No fast charging support .
