Lenovo has expanded its Vibe pipeline in recent days aggressively. Today they launched Lenovo vibe K4 note, a successor to its highest selling phone K3 note.
Some features Lenovo vibe K4 note:
3GB ram, 16 gb rom, 5.5 inch display, 3300 mah battery, Mediatek MT6753 soc, Dual front firing speakers, NFC, Dolby atmos sound, Fingerprint scanner and much more.
Now top features of K4 note include:
- TheatreMax
The Lenovo Vibe K4 Note comes with a feature called TheaterMax which can convert regular content to its immersive VR content. Powered by Lenovo Virtual Reality technology, the idea is to give users a cinematic experience. This will work with any virtual reality headset.
- Frontfacing stereo speakers:
Now this is not a new tech in smart phone world as Moto G and Moto X and some of the HTC phone comes with front facing stereo speakers but a new thing would be two front-facing speakers(1.5W each) alongside Dolby Atmos audio. This will surely give users a better sound output
- 3 GB RAM
Now a days most phone comes with 3 GB of RAM. Recently Lenovo launched Vibe S1 which also comes with 3 GB RAM which will help users for multi tasking and gaming.
- Fingerprint scanner
This is also not a new tech in smartphone world as most of new launches we see with fingerprint scanner. This will indeed include a new security feature to your phone.
- NFC
Use of this feature is not wide spread but this tech is also awesome. You get NFC tags from ebay or Amazon at very cheap price. Use this tags with NFC in your phone and tests the limits of your Smartphone.
- Battery - 3300 mah: This phone comes with 3300 mah battery and it does support fast charging. This is a very good upgrade from previous years Lenovo K3 Note.
Cons as of now:
Plastic body at the back: This was a disappointment as lenovo teased this phone to be of metal body but it failed in that, rather it comes with plastic body.
Should have given Snapdragon it stead of Mediatek Chipset. Last year's K3 note had mediatek chipset, Lenovo should have upgraded it to Snapdragon chipset. Don't get me wrong, the processor is not weak but my personal preference would be snapdragon chipset.
Internal storage - 16 GB. Lenovo should have given at least 32 GB. Now, most phone comes with 32 GB internal storage. Now, the best part is, the storage is expandable till 128 GB so, this is not a major con. Considering price this is avoidable.
This phone is exclusively available on Amazon via flash sales for 11998 Rs. and the registration for this phone has already begun. Flash sale for phone will be conducted on 20 Jan 2016.
Lenovo also launched VR headset worth rs. 1299 along with the phone if you happen to buy both the things together than as a promo offer you can get both the things only for 12499 and Flash sale for this combo will be conducted on 19 Jan 2016.
