Hi,
I got this laptop for my sister who is a software designer, the laptop was faulty out of the Box, but due to lack of information on DOA(Defect on Arrival), we were unable to get a product replacement. At First there was a screen Flickering issue, which we reported out of the box but the seller was delaying by saying that he had informed the Service Center for a replacement of the Product. After few days a technician arrived with a motherboard at my location and asking for permission to work onto it. We are quite astonished to see him with the motherboard as we expect a brand new product. He replaced the motherboard and everything started working properly. I called the seller and he updated us that DOA was reject due to delay in reporting of the product. I argued with him that we reported out of the box but the seller was insistent on this conclusion.
After few days, CPU FAN stopped working and Laptop started smelling like a toxic substance, due to over-heating inside the components. They again sent another engineer to replace the fan. After few days, the battery died without any reason. Again they sent a battery only as it's a user replaceable product. Most of the engineers were less informative on the issues that are occurring in the laptop. Plus the overall experience is not up to the mark. Looks like Lenovo is creating Product with very Low Product Life Cycle Management. I not gonna purchase any other laptop from Lenovo in the near future.
Thanks!
