!!! READ BEFORE BUYING LENOVO, PATHETIC BRAND !!!. Review on Lenovo Laptop G560

Lenovo cheap Chinese origin company, they don't know logic on how to make a product.

I have suffered lot after buying their stupid product, have bought Lenovo gaming laptop Y500 high-end model which cost me around$1500 when it was released.

I extreamly regreted that I would have bought American/other brand product like DELL alienware, HP, MSI, ASUS etc.

You can feel OK with this brand if you are not a tech enthusiast/guys just use their laptop only for work, not interested much in doing a modification or new thing, but still u will be irritated with battery backup it gives.:(,  that is how you can see from others positive review here.

1.It does not have simple power saving feature called OPTIMUS(to use/switch built-in graphics from add on card when games/heavy app is not running) which is supported in other brands, which avilable in cheapter laptop itself, they r saying we have removed/disabled intel built-in HD graphics(why to remove intel built in mainboard  graphics which comes for free of cost from intel with their chipset), what a stupid technology, so battery backup very worst and pathetic, it gives not even 30min after 8 months even when no games played or less loaded use.

2.BIOS does not have much functions to fine tune system settings.WOL, power saving S1, S2, S3 etc., even not simple options which r avilable in the cheaper laptop.

3.WOL(WAKE ON LAN) not supported from BIOS thus windows OS(found this after lots of R&D) does not support WOL feature, so we need to switch on and keep the stupid laptop always, which is wasting lots of electric power,

4.Since free INTEL HD graphics missing/removed there is no WIDI feature(check INTEL WIDI feature in google), a feature using which u can share/stream/play your laptop display content to LED TV/DLP projector wirelessly. similar to APPLE AIRPLAY, Google chromecast, SONY DLNA etc., in PC.

Still, you can see lots of complaint across all Lenovo model, google it to know more, like WIFI CARD getting disconnects frequently prob., graphics card issues, battery issues. So many to name.

PROS:=>

1.Cheaper price may get discounts online

2.Easy avilable stock/less delivery time

3.Some may feel chicklet keyboard is good

4.Corporate/IT companies always buy this brand for employees due to cheaper price, availability.

CONS:<=

1.Poor build quality, cheap plastic parts(in my company, back plastic panel cracked for all LENOVO laptop due to pressure from hinge, then lenovo did back LID plastic cover replacement)

2.Limited bios options for features compared to ASUS, DELL, MSI, HP

3.No volume mute control on higher-end laptop/gaming ver. Y series

4.Limited USB/ports compared other brands

5.Badly designed concept( caps, scroll, power LED located in wrong place where u can hardly see status) 6.Ergonomically bad keyboard

7.Bad support(support guy dont know reason regarding to windows lenovo driver issues for their laptop, need to search in google for solution).! MY KIND ADVICE PLS DO NOT BUY LENOVO FOR CHEAPER PRICE, WHOLE USELESS!
