Recently Lenovo launched Lenovo K3 note in India, at a price Rs. 9999. The device was launched in china back in July but it took about 2 months for the device to launch in India. meanwhile, we Indians saw some great devices coming which were Yureka, Yureka Plus, Meizu M1 Note, Xiaomi Note 4G and Xolo Black. All these devices have almost similar specs as the Lenovo K3 Note, but this doesn't slowed down the hype in consumer for this device.

I was able to buy the device on the first sale itself, and it took 3 days to arrive and I was able to get my hands on it. So, let's get started with the real review -

Inside the box, you will find the 5.5" Awesome looking Device along with some other stuff like Charging adapter, USB Cable and manuals. No, earphone has not been provided and you will have to buy one for yourself. Quality of charging adapter and USB cable is good not so great though.

Coming to the device, it feels good while holding in hands with its sleek design and form factor. Display is 5.5" Full HD i.e 1080p. Power button, volume rocker has been provided on the right side, Earphone jack on the top and charging pin in the bottom. There's nothing on the left side. Back panel is made of plastic and is removable.

It is a dual sim device with support of 4G in India. External memory card is supported up to 32GB. OTG is supported.

Switching on the device took around 10 seconds. The display quality is great and viewing angles are pretty great too. Touch response is awesome and there's no lag while switching from screen.

Coming to software, Lenovo K3 note runs on Android 5.0.1 Lollipop with Lenovo's own custom UI on top and I hope the company will provide further updates too. The only thing I disliked is the lack of menu drawer, but that can be implemented by using custom launchers.

I played Asphalt 8 and it got installed in internal memory. Game was playable and I hardly noticed any Lag while playing on highest quality. Device can easily run many high end games too:)

Battery life is pretty decent and one can easily expect 1 day of battery life with moderate use. Device tend to heat up if you are continue playing games for longer time, which may be solved in near future updates.

Antutu Benchmark score is around 43000 and performance of the device is awesome.

Downside of device -

No Gorilla Glass protection.

High SAR Value near the body and head.

I will update the review in future with camera quality and performance.

Nearest competitor of Lenovo K3 Note - YU Yureka Plus
