I am writing this review from the same laptop which I have bought few month ago Lenovo Ideapad Y500. If you are often doing multitasking then this laptop is for you, the intel i5 6th gen processor with 8 GB of RAM and 4 GB of Graphics is very fast. I choose this product because of its configuration at 51k which rarely I got on the other brand.The heavy application like Visual Studio which requires a huge amount of RAM runs smoothly and also heavy game like GTA also runs smooth, but when I try to run both of them simultaneously I observed some lag on my machine.
pros:
1.The startup is very fast it takes few seconds to start.
2.Battery backup is good its last upto 3 to 4 hours.
3.The Dolby sound with JBL speakers.
cons:
1.Plastic is not so durable.
2.Sometimes keyboard buttons are not working properly.
Summary:
The overall performance of the laptop is Good.
