I had bought this laptop for my dad who uses basically for MS word, MS Excel and for web surfing. Due to the regular time consuming process of opening an app I decided to upgrade the RAM. to my surprise I found out that the RAM cannot be upgraded. I went to the store where I bought the laptop, when I approached the guy who was present during my purchase, he was surprised too about the information I shared. When I bought the laptop I had asked the sales rep. about the ram up gradation option. He had confirmed to me that its possible. Now after the store manager checked with some guy on phone he was informed that it cant be upgraded. He even informed me that I should not update windows since it will slow the system.Irony.WOW
I offered to pay the difference and buy a different model, he refused to accept and said u r returning the product after 1 & half month its not possible. Since my dad used it occasionally we were not able to figure the issue. 2 days back when he reported to me about the slow system. I checked it and found the system was actually very slow. That's when I decided to return it. I feel cheated by brand LENOVO.
Wanted to inform all about how Lenovo is treating their customers. They just want to remove their obsolete products by misguiding their potential customers. SAD
I will be taking this matter ahead.
