Good laptop, worth the price. Might have given 5 stars if the trackpad's buttons were better and the build felt more sturdy. Overall though, no real complaints about the quality considering it is a sub 25k laptop.
Now to the "Ubuntu users beware!" bit -
Apparently this model(like many other Lenovo models) is limited to charge to 60% of battery capacity when it is shipped. If you are planning to install only Ubuntu, then you might not be able to change that setting. I checked with customer care and they told me that they do not officially support Ubuntu, so that was useless. I tried various methods recommended to try and reset this setting by resetting the cmos, etc. Tried various versions of holding down the power button and yada yada, nothing worked for me.
I had to install windows and download the Lenovo power management utility through which you can reset the battery charge limit to 100%. After that I did a fresh install of Ubuntu(clean install, no dual boot) and now I have no issues with charging.
I also had a small issue with the network adapter not turning on, but that had more to do with Ubuntu than with this laptop as I was able to solve it by executing a command in terminal.Verified Purchase
I purchased a Lenovo lap top two months back.
I tried to get extended warranty from the manufacturer . But now they says that serial number mentioned in the lap and invoice are different.Kindly check the invoice and lap that you have purchased.
