Maruti Driving School -Indiranagar-Excellent!!!

I joined MDS Indiranagar about 15 days back and took Learner's course. They have very good instructors and theory classes are just awesome! It is a must know for every driver on the road. My special thanks to our Theory instructor Raju for the Emergency Handling techniques! With this knowledge alone our vehicle did not get damaged in yesterday's heavy rain and roads were flooded. He had taught us how to drive in flooded roads! Many thanks to him! I could see may cars being stopped after water got into their exhaust and engine and I instructed my  brother how to drive!

All the trainers in MDS are trained from a well known institute from India(I dont remember exact name). They have a progress record for each student with the topics to teach(like reverse, overtake, lane changing, moving to 3rd, 4th & 5th Gear, Parking, etc). I am very satisfied with their trainings and theories, they even teach the behavioral attitude one should implement in the road! Our roads would have been far better if all knew about these. The entire course might look little expensive, but believe me, its worth each penny you spend. I had attended regular driving school earlier from Madivala, Bangalore. But I was asked to drive the car without even explaining the basic aspects. MDS have very good simulators where you can simulate driving in City, Night, busy  roads, highways etc, they are just too good!.

My RTO did not come under Indiranagar and I had to take Learner's License from K.R.Puram RTO through different driving school. MDS should improve on rescheduling of any classes, once someone misses a class/practical the helpdesk is not very friendly to reschedule. Other than that they have wide varieties of cars to choose, I chose Ritz and it was 5250/- whenever Ritz was not available I had to drive WagonR and A-Star, it is good!

Overall  I would recomment MDS to anyone who are really interested to learn driving or refresh their skills.

========UPDATE-6th June 2010=========

Yesterday was my last practical session, they taught me how to change a flat tyre, it was good. Today I took out my Alto to my office(alone, ~6 Kms), traffic was at its peak, but it was ok, I successfully reached office & parked the car:), thank god & thanks to MDS! LOL!
