It was holidays time and each and every one of my friends was doing some or the other'course'. They were utilising their time with JAVA, C+ and the like. And yours truly got a complex. Why was'I' not doing something worthwhile. So deciding to give fire to a passion . uh alright! Here is the truth - dad forced me.
You see no matter how much you know about cars and how they function, there is a gud deal of intimidation when you do'it' for the first time especially if your trainer looks like a serial killer. Anyways yours truly being the daring devil that he is, got into the car.
Wait. The car deserves description here. These Maruti800s that are used in driving classes are to be keenly observed to be believed. Everything that does not hamper the movement of the car is bent, torn, mauled in some way or the other. You can find anything inside from a spare tyre to empty water bottles and tools. Once inside, you will wonder how it stays on those 4 wheels which actually move.
If I thought I had enough'surprises' for the day, I was wrong. This guy took me to the busiest stretches of tarmac in Noida - on my very first day. In a way it was good - helped release some demons inside. but only after enraging them.
So after 15 days of training, I learnt driving. I never thought driving would be so exciting and addictive, atleast at the startup, as I found it to be. It took some effort to start the thing but once on I needed no prodding to get on. 2 weeks is no long duration especially if you are doing nothing but sticking your backside to that couch.
