I love cooking, but after years of slaving in front of a stove (or not slaving using my SILEX GRILL), I decided that it was time to find an alternative to my cooked lunches. I had tried Frozen Meals years ago while living in Australia and all I could remember was how disgusting the things were. It was like eating flavoured straw, they were full of ''added chemicals'' and would have killed a rat who would try to ingest these horrible mixtures!
I thought about health drinks and health bars as a meal replacement, but they were not better than the above... so I decided to give frozen meals another try and boy, am I glad I did it! Of all the ones available in the 5 neighbourhood supermarkets, I chose ''LEAN CUISINE'' (made by Netlé), because of the variety available, and, after trying, their taste! I can have a healthy meal prepared in seconds, that is healthy, tasty, low in fat and sugar, add a salad to it and presto, preparing lunch is not a chore anymore.
If these meals are available locally, try them! Why settle for an unhealthy hamburger or sandwich when you can have a delectable gourmet meal for half the price and 1/4 of the calories and best of all, NOT SUGER LOADED as fast food is always!
