LeTV LeEco recently entered the market and Le2 is the 2nd phone of their mid-range series. And if u are a person who buys a phone, just by looking the specs, this phone is a true lesson for u.
Build and design: The has a unibody metal design just like its predecessor. There is no issue w/ the build apart from one, the screen creaking issue that many reviewers complained abt.
Even on a long press, the screen creaks inside. The brand says"this is a special fluid that they have inserted b/w the glass and display panel to make it stronger". But LeEco tell me one thing, if this is a feature of this device, why is it not present on the 4GB ram variant that is sold in China. Clearly this is an excuse made to cover up the mistake made by the company.
Display: the device has a 5.7 in 1080p screen which is really good.
Battery life: the device just has a 3000mAh battery that is below avg. You wud barely get a SOT of abt 3.5 hrs but can last you almost a day on a single charge.
Performance: It is powered by the new Snapdragon 652 chip and performs well in gaming. The memory management is also good.
Camera: The camera quality is decent for the price. I wud rate it 7/10. Its like this Redmi Note 3>Le2>K5 Note>Moto G4 plus.
Speaker: the speaker is adequately loud but lacks a bit of bass.
Call quality is really nice. No complains there.
Updates: If you are a person who wants to be on the latest Android version, dont get this device. It's running the custom skin, EUI, so I feel it will be difficult for the brand to provide updates.
Price & competition: the device is priced at 12k and is definately gr8 if u go by specs, but in real usage it will dissapoint u. One Major flaw is that screen flexing issue, apart from that one more issue present there is the quality control issue. 1 of my friend also purchased this phone after me and one complains abt camera. His camera is even worse than the Lenovo K5 and I have tested this by my own. Other one complains abt heating during gaming. Though no issue like this is present on this device. So I leave it upon u, if u wish to trust this brand and get this phone, you may do, but if you ask me, I will suggest u to stay away of it.
