I was there last night with my friends just to have a cup of tea. It was late at night and we wanted to kill few hours so we went down to Le Meridien which was previously Sun n Sand now taken over by Le Meridien.
The complete hotel is getting a upgraded as per the staff, and we saw few changes in the lobby. We took a quick look at the rooms as well and the rooms have completely changed. The beds, the interiors, the designs are upgraded.
We were there for couple of hours and ordered few sandwiches as that was the only thing they were serving. The sandwiches were not that great but the desserts were awesome. Their midnight menu is a let down and some one need to tell them.
The ambience of the place is good and that is the reason we went there in the first place. The music they were playing was soothing and the staff was very courteous. Late night you don't have many options so you need to compromise.
