Chips - I think are the worlds most faverite timepass food.u can find chips where ever u go.its almost universally accepted.the chips which I love the most are lays chips. this is simply because of two reasons:-
1) A LARGE VARIETY
Unlike many local brands lays offers a large variety of flavours for its chips.if I start counting them now my review would never get finished.but you can check them in a store near you.u'll find all of them quite different from each other and thus select the one u prefer.on the other the local brands offer only two flavours-salted and masala.also the ingredients used for the latter are quite questionable.
2) Quality
the reason for the exisistance of local brands is mainly because of the amount of quantity they provide. by seeing huge packets of chips for small price we consumers get easily carried away without even seeing the quality of chips.many times these chips are sold in simple plastic packets and thus many of the chips are crushed.also the type of potatos and oil used is very substandard.for eg take ''balaji'' brand which has become quite popular in past few years due to the large quantity.but when u open the pack you can see that quality is being sacrificed for the sake of quantity.how many of u know that the balaji factory has been raided 2 to 3 times by the FDA food and drink association.while lays on the other had though gives comparitivily less quantity , it never compromises on quality
lays is an international brand which has been in the chip business for quite a few years.lays is one of the leading manufacturer of chips in india.when u go out to buy clothes do y go to a footpath so that u can buy more clothes rather than a shop or mall.off course not! even if u buy 20 dresses whats the point if u dont even look good in them? on the other hand if u buy just one dress but look like a princess/prince in it then I would consider it as a good buy. we always give importance to quality while buying clothes or anything else then y not do the same for food? Are u going to keep ur health at risk just to save a few bucks? I know would'nt.at the end of the choice is urs and urs only.
