My sister has a Lava A72. As it is my sister's phone I use it quite often. The is pathetic. It is good at nothing. It can't do even normal operation. I'm listing down all the problems that I have faced till now.
1) Problem with jio - This phone has 4G VolTe that is a good thing but it doesn't work that's the worst thing. Jio requires VolTe services to do any call or it's jio 4G voice app. as this phone has Volte I can do call with jio. But the problem occurs after calling. You will only hear the voice of the person just called if your mobile data is on. My question is that what is the advantage of having VolTe if you can't do call with data off. So for each call I have to turn the data on otherwise calling is not possible with Jio.
2) Poor camera - its camera is really bad. Pictures taken come out to be blurry with no detail. Nowadays each phone has at least auto focus but this phone doesn't. It isn't even have touch to focus. Without auto or touch to focus the photos come out with worst quality. Infact its front camera is workable. Pictures come out to be decent. I'm way happier with it's front camera than it's rear camera.
3) Battery and charging - The battery life is really poor. The phone dies with hardly 2 hours of screen on time. It's battery doesn't even last a whole day. I wish at phone chargers quickly as the battery is poor. Despite having such a small battery 2 hour is the minimum time that it takes to charge the phone.
4) No update - in the age of Android Oreo the phone still running on Android marshmallow 6.0 . It hasn't any update since ages. Once the phone stopped working so I had taken it to the lava service centre. The had told me that they have updated the phone but even after updating the phone is still running on marshmallow. At least it it is working after taking it to service center that's a big thing for this phone.
The phone has really bad performance. It has all the above listed problems. If anyone is planning to buy it then just don't buy.
