Talk about a city that never sleeps! You are sure to love Las Vegas. I've been there several times at different times of the year.
When you arrive, throw your wrist watch into a drawer in your hotel room and forget about ''time'' until your departure day!
If you are flying there and staying at any of the hotels on the ''strip'' you won't need a rental car! Reasonably priced transportation is available! Inexpensive Limo service is a special treat. When we went there on our last trip we rented a super stretch limo for only $60 an hour but the limit was for two hours.
It was a wonderful limo ride and we had a driver that was an excellent tour guide!
Be prepared to check the temps prior to going on your trip. Stay hydrated! Wear comfortable loose fitting clothing and comfortable shoes. Prepare for lots of walking.
There is so much to do and see. There are plenty of ''free'' shows and ''free souveniers. There are many ''free'' contests to enter also.
Price to eat and drink are very reasonable. Don't plan to sleep much if it's your first trip! We loved the idea of oxygen being pumped into the casinos because we kept awake quite a bit.
We usually limited our trips to five days and four nights. Just enough time but not overdoing it. By the time we went to the airport on our departure date we heard enough of the slot machines to last us for a while.
