All right friends I am back with the next review and this time on my favorite LARA DUTTA?.
As readers must be aware of my school of writing here you will not find any personal details about Lara Dutta just a talk about her short and sweet career?
A brief summary of her short and not too successful career?
Lara started with a bang after winning the Miss Universe title. In one of her recent interviews in coffee with karan she spoke about the days when she and her long time lover Kelly dorjee used to live in small rooms in Mumbai looking for work and used to feed their stomachs by eating wada paav and all..
She joined the movies and her debut was with a super hit movie Andaz but all the credit was taken over by Priyanka Chopra with her skin show.
After that she found it difficult to establish her place in Bollywood as neither she was getting good offers from A-grade directors nor she was taken as a sex symbol as the likes of Bipasha Basu, Malika sherawat and Neha Dhupia are far ahead in the skin show than Lara?
Still she didn?t stop her fight and came up with powerful performances in the movies like Jurm , Masti and an item number in Khakee?.
Well, she is a star of the future and I am sure she will be the number-1 one day she just needs to work with good directors and powerful roles she is having the talent and the body to make it big?
It all started with Miss Universe 2000?.
I still remember my final year exams of Bcom (hons) were going on when she won the Miss universe Pageant. That was my first encounter with this beautiful, gorgeous women. At first sight I had fallen in love with her beauty and boldness and the way she carries herself?A girl with limited looks and means made it big in the world just with her confidence and belief in herself?
Her first movie Andaz?.
As all beauty queens do she did the same and joined Bollywood to make a mark just like her seniors Aishwarys rai and Sushmita sen?. In her first movie she was casted with Priyanka Chopra who did a lot of skin show in the movie and took all the appreciation and good movie offers as well. Well to be very frank I was really disappointed after watching that movie neither she was looking beautiful in this movie nor she had a powerful role to back her?.
Then came Mumbai se aaya mera dost?.
A big disaster but everyone noticed her in choli?s and ghagras . I still remember that song sayiyun she was looking very hot in that?
A small item number in Khakee..
Till khakee she had nothing in her kitty to prove that she is good actresses neither she was able to compete in the skin show with the likes Of Bipasha Basu ,Kareena Kapur and all?.So took a carrier ending decision by deciding to do a Item Number in the Movie Khakee.. But it turned out to be a safe bet she was very much appreciated in that item number and took the youngsters by storm.. Her item number was not rated as vulgar but as seductive and tintalative?.
Than came a small cameo in MASTI?
After khakee she was left with no big offers so she decided to do a small cameo in Masti?Which turned out to be a surprise hit well I m sure you all must have seen her sexy rain dance with Vivek Oberoi?By this time Malika sherawat, Bipasha BASU, Priyanka Chopra and Neha dhupia were all at their Full swing?.
At the same time LARA was fighting for a place at Bollywood. She was getting small offers that too from B-Grade directors and item numbers?
Than came small cameos in AAN , Bardasht and Insan?
Well nothing to tell about these movies other than the fact that the only thing, which made me watch these movies is sexy LARA?.
Even she had nothing to prove in these movies still the actress in her made a mark with small but powerful performances.
Her latest Movie JURM,?.
Jurm is the movie, which gave her for the first time a very power full and glamorous role, which she did with perfection. She was not only looking sexy in the movie but came up with a very good performance ? The only plus point about the movie Jurm is Lara ?
She played a negative character with ease ion the movie..
Kaal - she is looking drop down gorgeous?.
Those who have seen the promos of the movie KAAL will defiantly agree with the above statement. IF one has to compare her with the other heroine ISHA DEOL, LARA will get 10/10 and will defiantly score over ISHA..
She is one of the highlights of the movie and the selling point..
I wish lots of good luck to this sexy and talented actress and I'm sure she is the future of Indian cinema..
